Medical Summarization Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated Medical Summarization Specialists to analyze patient clinical histories and create precise, structured medical records summaries. This role is crucial for helping healthcare providers review and interpret patient charts efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze patient charts, medical records, and physician notes
• Create accurate, concise, and structured summaries of patient clinical histories
• Identify and extract key medical events, diagnoses, treatments, and procedures
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness of summarized documents
• Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA guidelines and patient privacy protocols
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to verify summary details

Requirements

• Requires transcription and typing experience
• Requires strong comprehension skills and medical terminology knowledge
• Candidates with medical scribe experience are also welcome
• Requires a bachelor's degree in science (e.g. B.Sc., Biotech, Nursing) or a relevant field
• Candidates must have strong written English skills (more so than conversational skills)
• Strong analytical, reading comprehension, and summary synthesis skills
