System Administrator

About the Role

We are seeking a System / IT Administrator to maintain our secure computing environment, monitor network infrastructure, and manage server availability. You will ensure maximum system uptime and enforce HIPAA security compliance across all endpoints.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, network hardware, and client systems
• Monitor system performance, perform backups, and execute disaster recovery plans
• Enforce user access management, group policies, and biometric security controls
• Implement endpoint security, anti-virus updates, firewall rules, and patch management
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues for local and remote users
• Audit systems regularly to ensure alignment with HIPAA security regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, or a related field
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with system administration (Windows/Linux servers)
• Familiarity with network configuration, firewalls, routing, and switches
• Knowledge of virtual machine environments (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS)
• Certifications such as MCSA, CCNA, or Security+ are highly desirable
• Understanding of enterprise security protocols and compliance audits
