AI / ML Engineer - Junior

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior AI/ML Engineer to contribute to the design, training, and deployment of machine learning systems and Large Language Model (LLM) workflows. You will work alongside senior engineers building intelligent NLP pipelines and semantic analysis tools for healthcare data.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, training, testing, and optimizing machine learning models
• Build and integrate LLM applications and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks under guidance
• Collaborate with database and software engineers to deploy algorithms in cloud and EHR environments
• Ensure strict data security and compliance (HIPAA) throughout the model training pipeline
• Analyze model output quality and implement feedback loops to refine model accuracy
• Stay up-to-date with emerging research and transfer academic advancements to production systems

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in the AI/ML field and related technologies
• Strong knowledge of Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and deep learning frameworks
• Hands-on experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), and prompt design
• Knowledge of machine learning deployment strategies, cloud hosting platforms (AWS/Azure), and containers (Docker)
• Strong mathematical foundation in statistics, probability, linear algebra, and machine learning theory
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a highly quantitative field
